Springvale Botanical Cemetery offers a broad range of in-ground burial options, catering for the placement of a casket into the ground, known as an ‘earth burial’.
Recognising the needs of a diverse community, specific cultural requirements are able to be catered for.
Where a family has an existing grave, additional interments may be possible after:
- the cemetery checks its records and the site to ensure there is sufficient room
- ownership of the grave is clarified
- payment of applicable burial or other appropriate fees.
An alternative to an earth burial is provided within our mausolea. These buildings provide for the above-ground interment of caskets.
