The annual Police Remembrance Day – End of Day Reflection Service was held at Springvale Botanical Cemetery on Thursday 29 September 2011.
Each year, the service acknowledges the sacrifice of those people who have paid the ultimate price for the preservation of law and order in our community.
Their memory is also commemorated by the work of the Blue Ribbon Foundation which raises money to go towards specialised medical facilities in public schools.
