Chapels

Springvale Botanical Cemetery offers five main chapels, The Boyd, Renowden, Blair, Wilson and The Chapel of Eternal Rest. Tastefully decorated, our chapels offer a lectern with microphone, air conditioning and facilities for the hearing impaired.

The Boyd Chapel

The Boyd Chapel provides seating for over 190 guests, with additional standing room towards the rear.

The chapel offers state of the art audio visual equipment including:

four highly visible plasma screens
DVD, video and TV facilities
a Viscount Domus 2 organ
pan tilt cameras to film services if required
a document camera which projects images of memorabilia and photos etc. via plasma screens
external speakers for large services.

The Renowden Chapel

The Renowden Chapel has seating for 96 guests. The chapel offers state of the art audio visual equipment including:

two highly visible plasma screens
DVD, video and TV facilities
an Opus organ
a document camera which projects images of memorabilia and photos etc. via plasma screens.

The Blair and Wilson Chapels

The Blair and Wilson chapels have tasteful décor and seat up to 66 guests. They also offer:

state of the art audio visual facilities
views of a peaceful outdoor water feature
a private area for viewing the casket prior to the service, should that be your preference.

The Chapel of Eternal Rest

The Chapel of Eternal Rest within the Rocco Surace Mausoleum has seating for 70 guests and also offers:

state of the art audio facilities
the magnificent stained glass ‘Window of the Holy Spirit’, representing the spirit of joy and everlasting life
impressive architectural features, including walls adorned with marble imported from Italy
church style pews.
