Staff and volunteers regularly conduct tours of our cemetery to provide the public with an educational and interesting experience, to promote the numerous cultural and heritage values and to raise funds for their maintenance.
Please join us for a tour of Springvale Botanical Cemetery, a world-class crematorium and cemetery which was
established in 1901.

Sunday 23 September 2012 at 2.00pm (Spring Equinox)
On the day of the Spring Equinox, the Earth’s poles are the same distance from the Sun. In Melbourne, the Sun rises due east, sets due west and gets to 52° above the horizon at noon. On this day there are roughly 12 hrs of day and 12 hrs of night.
